Eliyahu Gasson

Editor-in-Chief

Eliyahu is a senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Multiplatform Journalism and minoring in Philosophy. He is the current vice president of the Duquesne University chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He has held internships at Point Park University’s Next Generation Newsroom and 90.5 WESA. This is Eliyahu’s fourth semester as an editor at The Duke.

Kaitlyn Hughes

News Editor

Kaitlyn is a second-semester junior from the south hills of Pittsburgh. She is double majoring in Multiplatform Journalism and Digital Media Arts while pursuing a Pre-Law Certificate. Kaitlyn is the current president of the Duquesne University chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and editor-in-chief of Off the Bluff, a student-produced magazine. She was the 2025 recipient of Trib Total Media’s Jim Borden Scholarship and spent her summer as an intern in their Greensburg office. She has also interned with Pittsburgh Magazine. This is Kaitlyn’s third semester as an editor at The Duke.

Ben Deihl

Sports Editor

Ben is a first-semester junior from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Sports Information & Media. He started as a staff writer during his sophomore year at Duquesne and is currently serving as the sports editor for The Duke. Ben interned at fan-run news source Steelernation.com as a freshman and is currently an intern at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. This is Ben’s first semester as an editor for The Duke.

Josh Imhof

Features Editor

Josh is a second-semester junior from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Multiplatform Journalism with a minor in Music. He started as a staff writer his sophomore year and is serving as the current features editor of The Duke. This summer he served as an intern at the Indiana Gazette as part of the Pittsburgh Media Partnership.

Naomi is a first-semester junior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a double major in Multiplatform Journalism and History. She has been a staff writer at The Duke since her freshman year of college. She is the current treasurer of the Duquesne University chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and spent the summer interning at Pittsburgh Magazine.

Diva is a first-semester sophomore from New York City, New York. They are majoring in Biochemistry. They are the senior poetry and co-copy editor for :Lexicon, Duquesne’s Arts and Literature Journal. This is Diva’s first semester as layout editor for The Duke.
