I’m an overthinker at heart. I spend too much time analyzing small interactions I have with others. A change in body language, tone and even the way they are texting me makes me spiral. Are they mad at me? Did I do something wrong? I spend way too much brain power making a small thing a huge issue. Getting so worked up and creating a problem out of thin air isn’t healthy, I know.

I like to think that this issue is getting better. One thing that helps is remembering that people don’t actually care about you that much.

It sounds harsh but it’s true, everyone has their own thing going on. If someone’s tone sounds a little more blunt than usual, they might just be having a bad day, it’s self-centered to believe it has anything to do with you.

You don’t need to create fake problems, there are enough real ones.
