Midterms are here! While I’m sure a good deal of you are going to crush your exams, I also know not everyone is going to be satisfied with their marks.

I have never been a big fan of the “C’s get degrees” mentality. Sure they do. I would just prefer to get an A.

But I have come to realize that in the long run the grades you got in your undergraduate studies probably won’t matter. Yes, a good GPA can be helpful in getting into graduate school or securing that first post-graduate job, but that’s really all they are good for.

When you are 30 the B- you got in a Bridges course won’t keep you up at night. Pat yourself on the back if you get an A, but don’t beat yourself up if you get a B.
