A car damaged a building on Watson Street behind McGinley Hall on Friday morning.
Duquesne Vice President of Marketing and Communications Gabe Welsch confirmed the incident in an email to The Duke, and said that the Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating. Duquesne University Police are also assisting with the investigation.
The building that was damaged was not a university owned building, however Duquesne University Police were at the scene due to its proximity to campus. Part of Watson Street was sectioned off due to debris from the building being in the road.
Welsch said that there were two people in the car at the time of the incident, and neither were students at the university. The Duke was not able to confirm their condition.
This is a developing story.
